PurPest networking at the Rapid Methods Europe conference

Andrea Ficke presented at Rapid Methods Europe 2023 conference the PurPest concept as a rapid, remote and non-destructive method for plant pest detection to increase food security in Europe. Most detection methods were based on lateral flow devices. Using volatiles instead of liquids or solids was a widely underpresented detection approach.

The event took place in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, from 6 to 8 November 2023.
